We are thrilled to announce that two of our principal investigators at Intelligent Aerial Robotics research group, Dr. Ho Hann Woei and Dr. Zhou Ye, have been awarded prestigious national grants, Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) 2024 for their research projects.

About the Grants

Dr. Ho Hann Woei has received the FRGS 2024 for the project titled “Formulation of a Novel Spiking Neural Network Architecture for Enhancing Event-based Visual Perception and Control of Agile Micro Air Vehicles in complex environments”.

Dr. Zhou Ye has been honored with the FRGS 2024 for the project titled “Formulation of Hierarchical Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning for Cooperative and Distributed Control of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Teams”.

To support these exciting projects, we are seeking to hire two M.Sc. students to join our dynamic research team. These positions are ideal for candidates passionate about advancing knowledge and technology in the fields of robotics, mechatronics engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, aerospace engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
